About DieVinci

I created this tool out of frustration. I tried to commission a few different dice sets from three different creators, and eventually decided to give dice making a go myself. I watched a lot of Rybonator videos to understand the process - from 3D-printing masters to taking molds and the actual casting.

I started designing dice in Onshape, but got frustrated with support placement in slicers like Lychee and Chitubox, and decided to make a tool to help me out with that. Once that was finished I thought: well, I use the same shapes all the time anyway, so why not add this functionality too.

Once done I realised there was already a very similar tool called dicemaker. So if you do not find a feature you are looking for here, have a look at dicemaker - maybe it fits your needs better. I still decided to publish mine: it is nice to have variety, and DieVinci is web-based, so you do not need to install anything - it runs right in your browser.

Feedback is always welcome. Let me know if you are missing functionality or have ideas for features that could be useful to you.

Usage and licensing

Dice you design with DieVinci are yours: you may use them commercially and no attribution is required. However, you are responsible for the licenses of any fonts and icons you place on your dice. Always double-check those licenses before using or selling your designs - the permissions for DieVinci itself do not extend to third-party fonts and icon sets.
